Distance
Nubble
Lighthouse (pictured above) ~ Just south to Cape Neddick is
Maine's most photographed lighthouse. Picturesque any time of year;
it is a favorite spot in which to relax and meditate.
Also
in the York area is Mount Agementicus, one of the highest
points in York County. Here you'll find hiking trails and seasonal
horse rentals provided through the York
Recreation
Department.
Just
30 minutes from Ogunquit are the famed Kittery Outlet Malls,
offering shopping at your choice of designer stores as well as the
Kittery Trading Post (similar in nature to LL Bean). Those of you
wishing to visit L. L. Bean, will also find that Freeport (1 hour
north) also offers a wide range of designer and famous-retailer
factory outlets. |
